Trumpet is an IP protocol implementation for Windows. Trumpet, like all Internet applications on Windows, requires the presence of a program interface called Winsock to function. The application programs belonging to Trumpet are FTP, Telnet, Archie, Ping and Internet Relay Chat ( IRC).
