track logger

Track loggers or GPS loggers are small, handy devices that store the position of the GPS receiver at regular time or distance intervals.

The stored track points contain the position information as longitude and latitude as well as the altitude and the time information.

Route determined by waypoints

Route determined by waypoints

The track log corresponds essentially to the track points( TP) of the route, but has many more track points than way points (WP). The recording is done automatically and can be done in shortest time intervals between 1 second and 30 seconds or in short distances between 1 meter and 100 meters.

Tracklogs can be imported into maps and show the course of the route on the map.
