A template is a sample template or template for a document that contains the essential layout elements and can be filled with graphics and text.
A template is a predefined file that forms the basic framework for the layout of documents, brochures, book and newspaper pages, advertisements or web pages, greeting or moving cards, etc., and is filled with content by the user. Such a template can contain textual and/or graphical elements. The user can insert texts, photos graphics or other multimedia files into such a template.
The term template is also used in software development as template programming. These are templates, which provide program code sequences in generally reusable form. In object-oriented programming, such as in C++ or the D programming language, templates are possible in connection with functions and classes.
