teleservices data protection ordinance

The Federal Act on Data Protection forTeleservices, which came into force in 1997, is part of the Information and Telecommunications Services Act (IuKDG), like the Teleservices Act (TDG). It is distinct from the Telecommunications Data Protection Ordinance (TDSV) and the Media Services Treaty (MDStV). The law regulates the data protection of persons who participate in the services of telecommunications or offer telecommunications services. In this context, it defines users and service providers and includes the principles for the processing of personal data.
