telecommunication information networking architecture (TINA)

The Telecommunication Information Networking Architecture (TINA) is a strategic concept that aims to unite the Intelligent Networks (IN) with the Telecommunication Management Network

(TMN). In such a network, all the requirements of users and network operators

could be combined, taking into account technological developments. In terms of service offering, TINA provides telecommunication services and management services.

Telecommunication services are those offered by intelligent networks on the Service Plane (SP), while management services are those offered by the Telecommunication Control Network (TMN) for the operation, administration and maintenance of telecommunication services.
