tebi (Ti)

The Tebi (Ti) prefix is a prefix standardized by the International Electrotechnical Commission ( IEC) based on the exponentiation of the dual system. The Tebibinary, tebi, corresponds to a value of `2^40`.

Storage capacities should be specified in gigibytes (GiB), tebibytes (TiB) or pebibytes (PiB) if the standard is used as a basis. There is a difference of about 10% between a tebibyte, which is based on the binary system, and a terabyte( TB), which is based on the decimal system.
