tagged cell rate (ATM) (TCR)

Tagged Cell Rate (TCR) is one of many ABR device parameters that limits the transmission rate. It is the maximum data rate at which a switch can generate Backward Explicit Congestion Notifications( BECN) or at which RM cells can be sent between the data source and the receiving station. The TCR value is constant and is 10 cells/s.
