tag, length, value (chipcard) (TLV)

Tag, Length, Value (TLV) is defined as data format by Abstract SyntaxNotation One( ASN.1). In this format, the Value stands for the date, which is uniquely described by the Tag and the Length. The TLV data format is used in smart cards.
