synchronized sample scrambler (SSS)

Synchronized Sample Scrambler (SSS) is an encryption method that is used to encrypt information units in the transmission adaptationsublayer ( TC) of the ATM layer model. This method is used to encrypt ATM cellpayloads for all transmission methodsexcept "direct" cell transmission(Cell Based Physical Layer). The SSS procedure works with a generator polynomial of X exp43+1.
