supplier relationship management (SRM)
Depending on the concept, relationship management focuses on relationships between companies and suppliers, companies and consumers, or suppliers and consumers.
For example, Customer Relationship Management(CRM) focuses on customer needs, and Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) focuses on supplier-company relationships.
Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) is focused on the needs that corporate purchasing expects from suppliers and their deliveries. These aspects cover the entire order and supply chain: from the product delivered, to the quantity delivered, to the time of delivery, to the product quality. Supplier Relationship Management is part of Supply Chain Management( SCM) and thus part of the value chain in companies.
