subsplit

The frequency technology for the separation of the transmission direction in single- cable broadband systems is mainly used in cable television. In contrast to the midsplit method and the highsplit method, the subsplit method has a high usable bandwidth of 346 MHz in the forward direction (between 54 MHz and 400 MHz).

In thebackward direction (direction to the head-end station), the usable bandwidth is between 5 MHz and 30 MHz.
