standard leased line

Standard fixed connections (SFV) are point-to-point connections that can be leased as monopoly transmission paths (MÜW), data direct connections (DDV) and carrier fixed connections (CFV).

The standard leased lines are permanently switched connections with analog and digitalinterfaces. In the case of analog leased lines, the frequency range extends up to 446 MHz; in the case of digital leased lines, the data transmission rate goes up to 155 Mbit/s, although correspondingly narrower-band ranges with lower transmission rates can be leased.

At Deutsche Telekom, digital standard leased lines can be leased from 64 kbit/s.
