Smart shoes belong to the group of smart wearables. These are intelligent shoes with integrated chips in the insole that communicate with the smartphone via Bluetooth. The integrated microprocessors record heart rate and physical parameters from which they derive the user's fitness and calorie consumption.
If a GPS module is installed, this can be used to determine the location and for tracking. Actuators can also be used to transmit haptic signals to the shoe wearer.
