smart home hub
A smart homehub is a hub for the smart home that connects the various home automation devices and control units via the home network and controls the communication between them.
Home automation concepts and components include smart lighting with LED lights and smart bulbs, security cameras for home surveillance, motion dete ctors and opening detectors for windows and doors for the alarm system, the control unit and thermostats for the heating and air conditioning system, and various other components.
A smart home hub is the central component of the home network. It collects, processes and stores the sensor data and the limit values and transmits them to the registered receiver when they are exceeded, or the hub triggers predefined actions, such as the siren of the alarm system or, in the case of geofencing, a message when the property area is exceeded.
