Site promotion, also called website promotion, is the advertising of a specific website. This includes all advertising activities that have the goal of increasing the visitor frequency and the click rate for a page. Typical activities are marketing activities via search engines, linking with other sites, viral marketing etc.. However, this also includes classic offline marketing activities such as placing the Internet address on the product itself or in print ads, TV or radio spots.
