simple protocol and RDF query language (SPARQL)

SPARQL (Simple Protocol and RDF Query Language) is one of the query languages that access the Resource Description Framework (RDF) information in Web 3.0. SPARQL is a recommendation adopted by the World Wide Web Consortium(W3C) for querying the RDF framework and representing the results. The query refers to the namespace, the output form, and the actual formulation of the query.

The namespace is selected by PREFIX, the output form by SELECT, and the formulation by WHERE.
