shrink dual inline package (package) (SDIP)
The Shrink Dual Inline Package (SDIP) has a smaller pitch between the connections compared to Dual Inline Package( DIP). This is 1.778 mm (0.07") and in another version 2.545 mm.
SDIP packages are plastic for through-hole technology, and as with the dual inline package, the connectors are on both long sides of the device. SDIP packages are available with 20, 22, 30, 42 and 60 connections. There is also a Dual Inline Package( DIL) in ceramic, the CDIL.
