shrink dual inline package (SDIP)

The Shrink Dual Inline Package (SDIP) has a smaller pitch between the connections

compared to Dual Inline Package (DIP). This is 1.778 mm (0.07") and in another version 2.545 mm.

The SDIP packages are made of plastic for push-through technology, and as with the Dual Inline Package, the connectors are located on both long sides of the package. SDIP packages are available with 20, 22, 30, 42 and 60 connections. There is also a Dual Inline Package (DIL) in ceramic, the CDIL.
