shortest job first (CPU) (SJF)

Shortest Job First (SJF) is a strategy for processor scheduling. With this queuing, jobs are allocated to the processor according to the expected processing time. The job with the shortest processing time is executed first.

Other methods for allocating processor power include First Come First Served( FCFS), Round Robin( RR), Fixed External Priorities( FEP), and Earliest Deadline First( EDF).
