script kiddie

Script kiddie is a neologism of script and kid, i.e. a teenager who uses text files to bypass computer security systems and hack into computer systems.

A script kiddie is similar to a cracker with the difference that he is inexperienced, does not have such a high level of technical knowledge as crackers or hackers and uses ready-made programs, prefabricated text files or automatic tools to penetrate foreign systems and cause damage there.

Skritpkiddies direct their attacks on security systems more randomly, usually do not understand the context and are not aware of the consequences. The damage caused by script kiddies is usually small.
