round robin approach
Round robin is a load balancing method that uses the functionality of the Domain NameSystem( DNS). In round robin, which is mainly used in switches, the incoming connection requests are forwarded to the individual servers in sequence.
The method distinguishes between an unweighted and a weighted method. In the first case, the number and distribution of currently valid connections is not taken into account, nor is the capacity of the server systems. In the weighted procedure, weighting factors are assigned to the servers in order to better utilize the capacity of the individual servers.
