deficit-weighted round robin queuing (DWRR)

Deficit-Weighted Round Robin Queuing (DWRR) is a mechanism for prioritizingtraffic with different classes of service.

The PWRR mechanism is similar to Weighted Round Robin Queuing(WRR) and Weighted Fair Queuing(WFQ) and specifically relates to the distribution of bandwidth at different frame lengths and the complexity of Weighted Fair Queuing (WFQ).

In PWRR, several parameters determine the configuration of the queue. These include the weighting of the bandwidth at the output ports, as well as the amount of data to be transmitted.
