A Roaming Network Operator (RNO) is an operating company that provides a platform for the Charge Point Operator ( CPO) and the E-Mobility Operator (eMSP) to exchange charging data.

The exchange of billing-related data between operating companies is known as e- roaming and provides vehicle users with access to charging stations from different providers. With e-roaming, the charging process can be billed by the customer's contract company, regardless of the operating company of the charging stations.
