remote monitoring and management (RMM)

Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) is used for remote monitoring and management of IT systems, network components and endpoints.

Remote management works with locally installed agents that provide specific information to the management service provider.

Configurations can be changed and software can be updated and upgraded through the RMM system. Newly added devices are automatically detected and configured. RMM systems also support reporting and provide appropriate warnings in the event of errors.
