A refback is a linkback. Unlike pingbacks and trackbacks, a refback involves a website (A), the link organizer, setting a link
to a second website (B), that of a receptor, without informing the receptor. The receptor is only informed of the link after the first web visitor arrives at website (B) via the link.
Thewebsite (B) receives this information
via visitor analytics. The method of refback is easier than the other methods because some websites disable pingback.
