realtime computing (RTC)
Real-time computing(RTC) is a real-time computing process in which a computing result must be available in a specified time. The expected responses should be available in milliseconds or even only in microseconds, depending on the specification. Typical or expected response times are specified for RTC systems.
Real-time programs used in real-time computing systems can functionally use synchronous programming languages, real-time operating systems, and real-time networks. Real-time systems are computer systems that have completely and correctly executed a computational operation in a specified time. Timeouts of the specified computation time are classified in different classes, namely: Hard, Firm and Soft.
A real-time computing based on direct processing of stored data at the memory level is computational storage.
