provisioning instance identifier (PRID)

A Provisioning Instance Identifier (PRID) is the unique identifier of Provisioning Classes( PRC) instances.

The PRID is a Common Open Policy Service( COPS) name that identifies a particular Provisioning Instance( PRI) within a Provisioning Class. It typically consists of a value for each individual attribute and structurally consists of a variable length field, the 1- byte S-number for the complete PRID, and the S-type data field for the bit error rate( BER).
