A Provisioning Instance Identifier (PRID) is the unique identifier of Provisioning Classes (PRC) instances

. The PRID is a Common Open Policy Service (COPS) name that identifies a particular Provisioning Instance (PRI) within a Provisioning Class. It typically consists of a value for each individual attribute and structurally consists of a variable length field, the 1-byte S-number for the complete PRID, and the data field for the S-type for the bit error rate (BER).
