program memory area (CD) (PMA)

The Program Memory Area (PMA) is the area of a compact disc( CD) that is used for the Table of Content ( TOC) during the writing process. The PMA area contains the track number and the start and beginning points. Once the session is closed and the writing process is complete, the TOC is in the lead-in area. This area also contains the Power Calibration Area( PCA). The PMA area starts at -13 seconds.
