In DVBdigital television, program information and service information are transmitted in the transport stream.

The Program Specific Information( PSI) is the Program Association Table( PAT), the Conditional Access Table( CAT) and the Program Map Table(PMT). While the Program Association Table (PAT) shows the content of the program, the Program Map Table is a table in which media streams with audio, video or additional data and the Packet Identifier( PID) are assigned to the individual programs. The PMT table shows which language the various programs are in and whether subtitles are displayed.
