privacy override information (POI)

In general, information that concerns privacy can be protected in mobile communications. For example, information about the user 's location cannot be disclosed if the user

has made the appropriate setting. This feature is called Privacy Override Information (POI), but privacy protection can be overridden in justified cases, with an appropriate court order. This is the case for eavesdropping and locating the subscriber.
