preferred roaming list (mobile com.) (PRL)

The Preferred Roaming List (PRL) is a database containing the preferred connections for roaming. The PRL list is required by mobile devices in order to be able to dial a service that is outside the standard mobile network used. The Preferred Roaming List (PRL) contains, among other things, information about the service providers and the radio frequency bands in which the mobile device can search for alternative service providers.
