post-processed kinematic (drone) (PPK)

Post-Processed Kinematic (PPK) stands for the post-processing of aerial photographs with high positional accuracy taken with drones. Direct processing of aerial photographs is Realtime Kinematic( RTK).

Post-Processed Kinematic is a mapping technique based on data from the GPS system, and its geodata is accurately determined in the post-processing of aerial photographs using correction data from the Global Navigation Satellite System( GNSS). Data from base stations and position data from the drone are used as correction data.
