Port to Application Mapping(PAM) allows customer-specific port numbers for network services and network applications in the TCP and UDP environment.

Port to Application Mapping (PAM) is a feature of Cisco firewalls that provides a table of default values for port-to- application mapping. The PAM feature also supports port mapping of hosts or subnets using Access Control Lists( ACL).
