platform independent model (MDA) (PIM)

A platform-independent model, Platform Indipendent Model(PIM), is an abstract architectural model that is independent of the technology of implementation. The platform-independent model, which is related to the model-driven architecture( MDA), builds on the CIM model, Computation Independent Model (CIM), and describes the structure and behavior of the planned software system.
