permissive license
Permissive licenses are open source licenses, like copyleft. Unlike copyleft licenses, permissive licenses have few restrictions on the further development and distribution of the free software.
The further developed software can be distributed under any license conditions, the source code does not have to be made accessible. Due to these regulations, permissive software can be implemented in products in compliance with the specified conditions.
Well-known examples of permissive licenses are Apache License 2.0, MIT and BSD licenses, Berkeley Software Distribution (BSD).
