Perceptual Analysis Measurement System (PAMS) is one of several methods for determining objective speech quality intelephony.

The PAMS system functions similarly to Perceptual Speech Quality Measurement( PSQM), providing an objective and reproducible method for evaluating the quality of speech transmissions. The difference between the two methods is the psychoacoustic model and the prioritization of speechclarity in the Perceptual Analysis Measurement system.

Another method besides the Perceptual Speech Quality Measurement (PSQM) is the Perceptual Evaluation of Speech Quality( PESQ).
