outbox

Outboxes of e-mail clients are the folders where outgoing e-mails are stored. Every outgoing e-mail goes first to the outbox, which is called outbox in English.

The outbox is where drafts are placed before emails are sent. Typically, emails are sent immediately after clicking the send button. Only if no connection to the mail server can be established, the sending is delayed. To increase clarity, subfolders can be created for specific e-mail contacts, into which the e-mails are sorted according to topic or user. The inbox is referred to as the inbox.
