open LVDS digital interface (OpenLDI)

Open LVDSDigital Interface (OpenDLI) is one of several connectors for digital interfaces.

The OpenDLI was used for Low Voltage Differential Signaling ( LVDS) by Silicon Graphics in some flat panel displays. It is also known as the MDR-36 connector and looks like the connector for Digital Flat Panel( DFP), but is a little wider than it and uses different signaling.

OpenLDI is based on LVDS from ANSI. Since the LVDS signals are incompatible with Digital Visual Interface( DVI), Plug and Display(PnD) and Digital Flat Panel (DFP), Silicon Graphics has fixed the incompatibility with a multi- link adapter.
