object management architecture (OMA)

With the publication of the Object Management Architecture (OMA) at the beginning of the 1990s, the Object Management Group(OMG) laid the foundation for CORBA, which was developed later.

With the object-oriented OMA architecture, objects can be integrated into applications without knowledge of the object's location in the network and its programming language. It is an open architecture for communication and cooperation between objects in heterogeneous networks. It includes services that the objects provide to each other.
