The Multimedia Card Association (MMCA) is an organization that deals with the standardization of memory cards and specifies their physical and functional interfaces. The MMCA is an open organization, it was founded in 1998 and provides a global forum for memory card manufacturers, semiconductor companies, software vendors and mobile device manufacturers.
