multi-service provisioning platform (ON) (MSPP)

A Multi-Service Provisioning Platform (MSPP) is the convergence of access technologies in optical networks with wavelength division multiplexing(WDM).

On the MSPP platform, ATM, Enterprise System Connection( ESCON), SDH networks and IP networks can be transported via wavelength division multiplexing, regardless of the signal structure and the structure of the services. Each feeder service is assigned its own wavelength in special transponder assemblies.
