distributed multi link trunk (DMLT)

A Distributed Multi Link Trunk (DMLT) is a distributed Multi Link Trunk (MLT) that accesses different Ethernet ports and interface modules. The redundancy here is considerably higher compared to the Multi Link Trunk, because the DMLT also includes the switching components in addition to the physical medium.
