In solar inverters, Module Level Power Management (MLPM) is a technology that has higher efficiency than other inverters for photovoltaic systems.

MLPM technology works with micro-inverters and optimizers. Each solar module has its own micro- inverter that works as a DC to AC converter, ensuring the AC voltage is fed at the correct frequency and phase, and tracking the operating point by changing the load resistance to achieve the highest feed-in power. The optimum operating point is the Maximum Power Point( MPP) and the tracking is called Maximum Power Point Tracking( MPPT).
