mobile terminated (GSM) (MT)

Mobile Terminated(MT) refers to all transmissions that arrive at and are received by the mobile station, such as a call or an SMS.

In the case of mobile terminated, the mobile station is the end device of the transmission link. This also applies to the short message service. SMS messages that are received by a mobile station are referred to as Mobile Terminated SMS (SMS-MT). If a connection is switched from a mobile device, it is referred to as Mobile Originated( MO).
