mobile subscriber (mobile communications) (MS)

The German term for mobile subscriber(MS) is mobiler Teilnehmer. This refers to mobile radio subscribers who can be reached with their mobile units, their smartphones, notebooks, or tablets, in the entire mobile network under a subscriber number. Thanks to roaming and handover, the mobile radio subscribers can move freely from radio cell to radio cell without the connection being interrupted.

At Tetra, the functional terminals are referred to as mobile terminals( MT).
