mixed reality (MR)
Between reality and virtuality there is augmented reality ( AR) and augmented virtuality ( AV). These two intermediate forms are Mixed Realities( MR).
Mixed reality combines the real world or the virtual world. An example of this is telepresence, where real people appear in virtual environments. In augmented reality, it is virtual information, animations or graphics that are superimposed on real scenes; in augmented virtuality, it is real superimpositions that are combined with virtual scenes.
In augmented reality, the additional information has a direct link to the real world, for example the overlays using head-up displays, and in augmented virtuality it is enriched by real objects and people interacting with the virtual world.
