minimum set of data (eCall) (MSD)

Minimum Set of Data (MSD) is the name of the data telegram that is transmitted in the eCallemergency call system in the event of an accident or emergency from the in-vehicle system's ( IVS) own eCall device to the emergency call center, the Public Safety Answering Point( PSAP). The data telegram is 140 bytes long and contains information about the time of the emergency call, the vehicle type and location, the type of drive, the direction of travel, the method of initiating the emergency call, information about the severity of the accident, and some other information. The minimum data set is defined in the EN 15722 standard.
