minimal point of entry (MPOE)

The Minimal Point Of Entry (MPOE), also called the Point of Demarcation, is the point in a communications system where the responsibility of a provider or Local Exchange Carrier( LEC) ends and the customer's responsibility begins. This point is also referred to as the termination point line technology( APL).
