micro device display (MDDP)
Micro Device Display Technology (MDDP) is a rear projection technology.
Micro Device Display Technology (MDDP) uses micro display components such as liquid crystals in High Temperature Polysilicon( HTPS) , Digital Light Processing( DLP) or Liquid Crystal on Silicon( LCoS), which are suitable for rear projection.
There are already televisions that use this rear projection and, according to manufacturers, are said to be superior to traditional cathode ray tube televisions in terms of brightness, resolution, screen size and viewing angle.
MDDP technology is promoted by the MDDP Consortium (MDDPC), which includes Arisawa, Epson, JVC and Texas Instruments.
