micro D connector

The standardized Sub-D connector has a pin spacing of 1/10", corresponding to 2.54 mm. Due to the ever increasing miniaturization, there are smaller D-shaped connectors, the Micro-D connectors.

In these connectors, the pin spacing has been halved compared to the Sub-D connector to 1/20", corresponding to 1.27 mm. This spacing is also known as half pitch.
