malicious code

A malicious code is a malicious code that creates unwanted effects, infects operating systems, compromises software, overcomes security systems and damages systems.

The term malicious code is the generic term for all sorts of system threats and attacks. These include worms and Trojans, viruses, backdoors and trap doors.

Malicious codes can appear as applets, browser plug-ins or scripting language. Once in the system, they can infect network drives and proliferate.
